It’s Friday!!! Doesn’t that just feel so good
to say each week?!? Today we are bringing you our favorite finds from around
the web. While we have already caught Christmas fever, we are equally excited
for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, especially because we have family visiting from
out of state, which means we have more motivation to set a killer table for the holiday. Today
we’ve rounded up our favorite Thanksgiving table settings to help us focus in
on the last of fall before we’re full speed ahead for all things shopping, sparkles
+ holiday parties!
When we think about our Thanksgiving
tablescape, we like to keep it fairly simple because in reality most of it will
need to be cleared once the food is placed at the table, unless of course you
do buffet style, which then allows the table décor to stay intact for the most
part. We also like to use items that can easily be transitioned into our winter
decorations, such as natural wood elements, metallic accessories and greenery.
The dominantly brown color scheme screams fall and those fab wood chargers could definitely be used again at Christmas. In fact, that whole table could stay as is except maybe add in red or buffalo check napkins and some berries or ribbon to the greenery.

Live somewhere where you can take Thanksgiving dinner outside? Add chunky knit or plaid throws to your guests' chairs not only for the practical purpose but also to punch up the cozy vibe of your table setting. Plus, who says you have to use a traditional tablecloth?! A plaid scarf adds instant color and a fall vibe to your tabletop.

Simplicity at its best. Fresh greenery, mini pumpkins, candles and white napkins tied with twine and a little sprig of rosemary.

Alright, this one is #goals. Magnolia leaves are swoon-worthy and the rich jewel tones are fantastic. And you already know how we feel about copper!

This design would be really great for a round table because they used kumquats instead of pumpkins or gourds. They're scale is more proportionate for a smaller table but you don't lose any of the orange color that we associate with fall. And the single feather tied with the napkin is just a perfect little detail.

While the greenery is pretty full on this table, what we loved was the use of the burlap tablecloth, white taper candles and touches of mixed metals that make this table instantly feel special.
Many of us have the tradition of going around the table and saying something you are thankful for, but this is a fun added spin by letting your guests write down what they are thankful for. Plus, we loved that they used regular printed napkins. You don't have to use plaid or typical fall colors for the table to be Thanksgiving ready. This is a great example that light and bright work just as well as rust, brown and orange.

Another simply sweet setting. A plaid table runner, white dishes with a metallic charger and little bundles of boxwood with brown gift tags. These say 'give thanks' but it would be great to write your guests' names instead as an alternative place card.
If you aren't into making your own place cards, the link below has a printable version that is editable and fits neatly around your silverware and napkin.

Wild Rose Thanksgiving Tabletop Takeaways~
*Shop the grocery store! You can never go wrong
adding fresh fruit, flowers or greenery to your table. They add great color and
natural elements always elevate a space.
*It does not need to be expensive. Glass votive
candles (found in sets for cheap at the dollar store), burlap + butcher paper are
all relatively inexpensive and instantly make your table feel rustic and chic.
*Use what you already have + a few simple
extras. If you have plain white dishes
(or any solid color), add pretty cloth napkins or metallic chargers which can usually be
purchased for $1-2 each, and can then be used again for Christmas. If you have lanterns that
normally sit on your patio, clean them up and add them down the center of your
table. A plaid scarf from your closet used as a table runner instantly gives you a color scheme to pull from.
*Don’t stress about your table. While it’s fun
to create a beautiful table for your Thanksgiving gathering, at the end of the
day it doesn’t really matter if your table is Pinterest-worthy or not. If you
want to pull out paper plates and silverware so you have more time to spend
with your family and friends- do that!! Whether you want to go all out or keep it as simple as humanly possible, we hope everyone is able to spend the
holiday with those they love and are able to take a moment to say thank you for
all the blessings of 2016.
